The Hedgehog Concept [parable] was a delightful surprise in the book. I personally had not heard of the famous essay by Sir Isaiah Berlin. This concept in the book is the topic of the 5th chapter, I have it bookmarked and refer back to it often. A Hedgehog has one central vision and has or develops a system to make it workable. Hedgehogs know how to simply their complex worlds. This question is... are you a hedgehog or a fox. Reading Good to Great will give you a clear understanding of this and many other concepts, bringing the workplace to a new level.
